For missions that require ChemBio protection, GORE® CHEMPAK® and GORE® CROSSTECH® fabrics improve your ability to respond quickly because they require no additional chemical taping.

GORE® CHEMPAK® Ultra Barrier Fabric

Certified to NFPA 1994, Class 2, and NFPA 1992, suits made with GORE® CHEMPAK® ultra barrier fabrics provide long-lasting protection in missions that potentially involve blister agents, nerve agents, toxic industrial chemical, and blood-borne pathogens. Wetting down the outer textile layer of the fabric reduces your heat stress through a combination of evaporation and conductive cooling.

GORE® CHEMPAK® Selectively Permeable Fabric

GORE® CHEMPAK® selectively permeable fabrics are the only breathable fabrics that currently enable garments to meet the certification requirements of the NFPA 1994, Class 3 and 3R Standards as well as the NFPA 1992 Standard. These highly breathable fabrics enable you to remain on scene for extended periods.

GORE® CROSSTECH® Fabric

Certified to the NFPA 1994 Class 4 Standard and the NFPA 1999 Single-Use and Multiple-Use Ensemble Standard, suits made with this highly breathable fabric deliver protection against highly infectious pathogenic diseases such as Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), as well as other biological and radiological particulate hazards. The proven durability of this fabric allows you to move freely, work more efficiently, and stay engaged longer during physically demanding operations. And, if the suit is not exposed to contaminants, it can be laundered and reused multiple times.
